What: The first call for a new monthly flash fiction contest! 
Who: Submissions are open to all - local and international writers.
How: Using the prompt above to ignite your creativity, write a small piece for submission. Submissions should be no more than 500 words. This month's quote comes from travel writer Liz Shemaria, who will be hosting a workshop on Feb 13th for travel writing at St Marks Church. Check out the event here Florence Writers.
When: The deadline for submission is February 20th, 2018.

The chosen entry will be announced at the end of the month, and will be published on the The Sigh Press (www.thesighpress.com). In the future, we will publish an anthology of flash fiction pieces submitted to Florence Writers.
