Baret Magarian's fiction work has appeared in World Literature Today, Journal of Italian Translation, White Fly Press, The Sandspout, and Sagarana. His most recent novella, Mirror and Silhouette, is available from Albion Beatnik Press and his debut novel, The Fabrications is available through Pleasureboat Studios. He is a lecturer, translator, fringe theater director, and actor. His play, The Pain Tapestry recently debuted in Iceland starring Paul Palsson. He has a passion for music and composes piano music that is in the vein of Jarrett and Alkan and draws on the tonalities of Armenian music.
