Elaine and Priscilla invite you to participate in the Masterpieces and Monuments field trip to Venice, March 23 and 24. They have spent the last fews year researching Venice for different museum and incentive groups, hence, we feel knowledgeable and inspired to take their class and alumni on a special trip to Venice.
The trip is designed for people who have been to Venice before and who want to go in-depth exploring the history and art of Venice. Through extraordinary contacts we made over the last few years, we managed to procure special events that one could not do on one's own such as: a private visit to San Marco after hours, access to the archives of Venice (where Elaine held Galileo's letter to the Venetian Doge in her hands!) and a day exploring the Venetian Lagoon with a marine scientist.
Costs: The cost of the trip 420 euros for 2 days. This is more than our usual fee for a field trip but as you all realize, Venice is extremely expensive and we have private venues and a private boat. The price does not include hotel accommodations.
